Never Give Up?
So yeah. I’ve had enough.
I’m not going to bore you with the details of what’s been happening lately, but anyway it has all forced me to come to the following conclusion:
I can no longer continue to contribute to the official blitz forum.
The reason for this is very simple, but I have been asked not to mention it, so I won’t. Suffice it to say I just don’t have the energy nor the inclination to deal with the grief, and I certainly don’t feel like having to justify myself at every turn. Also, as a community contributor, I have promised to keep my decorum, which makes for an uneven playing field in any such exercise.
Therefore, as I said, I am taking a hiatus. For those of you who don’t know what that means, it just means taking a break from doing something for a while.
What I will not do is resign as a community contributor; I will simply move my contributions elsewhere. I will also not stop playing the game, stop being a tester for wargaming, or stop writing about tank philosophy, gameplay, and my experiences playing the game.
If you are interested in long form written content, I invite you to the ostentatiously named “Irmabecx School of Tank Philosophy. That is where I will be posting my content:
If you are reading this, you are of course already here.
You can also find me on twitter, where I most often announce my latest content:
I am not actually a Youtuber; but I do have a small youtube channel I use as an archive of games and for testing and illustration purposes:
Finally, if you have a question, a subject you want me to adress, or just general comments, you can reach me at “tank philosopher at gmail dot com”.
You can also send me a private message on the official forum, but I may take some time to answer that way.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am to have to make this decision, but for the moment, I don’t feel I can do anything else.
Here’s hoping things will improve, but in the meantime;
Never Give Up!
See you out there.
